Crowley area business is currently seeking a worker to assist with Animal Control and in the Animal Shelter. The worker will be responsible for caring for and feeding shelter animals, answering phones, communicating with the public, maintenance and upkeep of the shelter, driving the company vehicle to pickup traps and to handle calls about nuisance animals. This position would also require the worker to complete training / certification and to be on call every other week.
Ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with the public and working with animals.
$10.00/hr to start. Pay will increase following completion of certification / training.
Mon - Fri - 8am - 4:30pm. On call every other week.
Other requirements:
- Pre-employment screening.
- Residence within Acadia Parish.
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
- Availability for hours needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from job site.
