Executive Assistant needed immediately for support of Lafayette area business / entity. This individual will assist by handling all administrative, project, communications, and individual support of the Executive Director, including:
- Management / maintenance of the calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Act as liaison between the Director, internal staff, and outside contacts/entities
- Handling of incoming communications and responses.
- Preparation of materials for meetings and presentations
- Attendance of meetings and creation of comprehensive documents with detailed meeting minutes
- Management of office records, ensuring that all paper and digital items are properly organized and easily accessed.
- Completion of ongoing inventory of materials needed for the office and communicate with vendors for purchase/terms.
- Completion of research and organize data as needed by the Director
- Assistance in the coordination of events and projects.
- Completion of follow-up items after meetings, including communications, responding with information requested, and completion of other miscellaneous tasks.
- Proper management of sensitive / confidential information and documents
**Project management experience is a plus.
Requirements (Mandatory):
- Bachelor's Degree with a major in English, Communications, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a previous Executive Assistant position
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), Zoom, and Adobe Acrobat
$21.00/hr
Full time, Monday-Friday, Daytime hours
