Opelousas area manufacturing / fabrication facility is currently seeking a Fabrication / Operations Lead. This position would require with powered tools and equipment within the fabrication facility, working as a lead / supervisor for training and management of other workers, keeping track of the status of projects, communications via phone and email, data entry for tracking various info (related to orders, production, supplies, shipments, etc), and managing day to day operations at the facility. Ideal candidate will have previous hands-on fabrication or construction experience, supervisory experience, computer skills / data entry (including proficiency in MS Excel and other MS office programs), experience in creating / using Excel documents. Must also have good math, reading, measurement, organizational skills, and willingness to go through training related to manufacturing. 

Previous knowledge of modern theories of manufacturing (sigma six, lean manufacturing, and creation of systems and procedures), manufacturing, warehousing, reading engineering drawings, or previous plant work would be a plus. 

$18-22/hr (DOE)
