Position: Offshore Crane Operator

Location: Yard in Belle Chasse, LA

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Offshore Crane Operator to join our team. As an Offshore Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating cranes on offshore platforms and ensuring safe lifting operations. Your main duties will include inspecting and maintaining the crane equipment, operating the crane to lift and move heavy materials, and following safety protocols to prevent accidents. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of crane operations, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work well under pressure. A valid crane operator certification and experience working in offshore environments are also required.  Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain crane equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Operate cranes to lift and move heavy materials.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate lifting operations.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust crane operations accordingly.
• Drive pilings, hydraulic or friction.

Requirements:

• Valid crane operator certification
• Medical information up to date
• Experience operating cranes in offshore environments
• Strong understanding of crane operations and safety protocols
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Ability to work well under pressure and in challenging weather conditions.
• NCCCO Certified 
• OSCHA Certified
