Local company is seeking an outside salesperson to market a line of safety and corrosion prevention products. Customers include marine, oil and gas, food and beverage industry, water and waste water, power generation, and electronics industries to name a few. This position will start in inside sales while the candidate learns the product offering, customer base, and company's business. There will be a movement to outside sales once a working knowledge of the business is retained. The large majority of time will be spent inside making customer calls, working on quotes, checking on orders etc. At minimum this position requires a conversational level of Spanish. Domestic sales travel will consume no more than 25% of your time and international travel a much smaller percentage.
Compensation will begin with a straight salary of $40K + (DOE) with transition to a salary / commission package.
