The Project Compliance Coordinator interfaces daily with external suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to define, evaluate and communicate quality-related priorities as related to specific projects and/or locations. The Project Compliance Coordinator maintains various state licenses and certifications for all manufacturing facilities. This position schedules customer and third-party on-site inspections for project compliance. The Project Compliance Coordinator works with Project Managers to develop any project specific Quality Control/Quality Assurance Plans, including any Inspection Test Plan requirements. Responsibilities • Provides framework and process definition for project quality/compliance requirements. • Ensures project information captured is complete and accurate and meets the expectations of applicable regulatory or approval bodies. • Reviews and understands various customers’ standards, procedures, and inspection requirements and ensures proper documentation in the areas of Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Supplier Quality Surveillance programs. • Participates in the development of product specifications, quality control plans and quality process. • Extracts, analyzes, and summarizes project information for submission to regulatory, approval agencies or to fulfill other internal or external requests. • Identifies critical inspection points in the manufacturing process and maintains all required documentation. • Helps enforce processes for project document approval, distribution, modification, and destruction. • Performs and participates in second- and third-party audits and completes vendor source inspections, as required. • Participates in out-of-conformance and failure investigations and recommends corrective actions related to any discontinuities. • Conducts internal audits and communicates quality control information to all relevant organizational departments or contractors. • Participate in the company’s In-Process Inspection procedures to ensure compliance with ISO standards including personally conducting inspections on production floor and in-service areas to validate the inspection process. • Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products and operation processes and to verify or validate conformance with customer’s quality requirements, contract requirements, or government regulations.
Minimum Qualifications • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 2+ years Quality Management System experience (ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100D). • Must have excellent written and verbal skills and to interpret customer and company quality requirements to ensure conformance with the customer expectations
Preferred Qualifications • Be qualified as a Lead Auditor under ISO standards. Apply knowledge of auditing to conduct independent audits of internal processes, products, and related documentation. • Strong construction and manufacturing knowledge. • Able to read and understand technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) and specifications from various industries. • Knowledge of various state regulation and construction codes (i.e. IBC Codes, NEC, etc.).
