Our client in New Orleans is looking for a Service Technician/ Service Technician Trainee.
The job duties will include:
- Building and vehicle maintenance
- Servicing, testing, recharging and repairing Fire Protection equipment
- Designing and planning fire suppression systems
- Installing fire suppression systems
- Threading pipe
- Servicing washdown systems and fan controllers
- General cleaning and housekeeping of shop
- Customer training
- Customer complaint resolution
- Problem solving
- Answering customer inquiries
Job requirements:
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to read a tape measure and understand weights and measurements
- Must have basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Black or brown work boots or shoes- Steel toe is recommended and is required for some jobs
