Work mainly consists of excavating around underground utilities in order to perform new service hook ups and repairs. Must be able to operate the machines safely and with the confidence and skill level needed to dig around active utilities.  Will work with ground crew as needed. Work is M-F 7am-3:30pm with opportunities for overtime.  Must be ok with being on call for 1 week out of every 5. Resume must state the amount of time you have operated these pieces of equipment.

 

MUST POSSESS VALID DRIVERS LICENSE. 

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Must have reliable transportation to equipment yard. 

Must be able to operate the equipment in a safe and productive manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of assigned projects, including planning, execution, and closeout
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Coordinate with estimating, detailing, and fabrication teams
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Track project costs, budgets, and change orders
  • Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Resolve project issues proactively and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction project management (HVAC, mechanical, or sheet metal preferred)
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Experience:
  • Background in HVAC or mechanical contracting
  • Experience working with union labor environments
  • Familiarity with fabrication and field installation coordination
